This was our best family holiday in years. Perfect guides, perfect location, fab hikes, delicious local food, the most beautiful kayak trip and the wild swimming was just great. We loved our holiday.

What an intrepid adventure! It took us a few days to get in to this holiday, shifting from busy, fast-paced lives to a more relaxed and laid back attitude. Once I got over the snake encounters (yes, you WILL see some whilst out on your wild adventures!), we started to really enjoy Montenegro. It’s a relatively undeveloped country, but as you travel back along the coastline towards Croatia there are some lovely gems such as Petrovac, Budva and Kotor (though be warned there are lots of cars in Kotor and a strong smell of cat urine!) Tobi and Adel were fantastic at looking after us all, and their very relaxed approach was infectious. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they were both really good with our children ages 9 & 11. So glad we did this trip as a family as it was a brilliant experience. Would definitely recommend hiring a car so you can explore much further on your ‘free’ days.

We booked a 7 day hiking holiday in Montenegro in September 2023. Ben made it possible for us to be the only guests taking the trip from our chosen start date so our guide, Nenad, was able to tailor the walks and itinerary to our level of fitness and particular interests. This proved ideal for us. Nenad gave us an excellent introduction to the country's stunning landscapes. We would never have seen some of the places and superb views that Nenad showed us without his detailed local knowledge. We were also grateful for Nenad's careful driving as the itinerary included several transfers. Many thanks to Ben for his advice and for making the trip possible at such short notice.

With Nenad as our guide, we had a really special holiday in Montenegro. We stayed in some incredible places, and wouldn’t have been able to make this happen as a family trip without Nenad. Anything that wasn’t quite right, he quickly solved. He did a great job of adapting the programme to suit our family - 2 adults and 4 children (14, 12, 7 and 6). As a fish-eating vegetarian, I was well-catered for, as well as one of our children with allergies. We missed out on canyoning due to the weather, but trip was overall very memorable indeed. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending! A 5 star experience in Montenegro with Nenad, but 4 stars rather than 5 overall - due to some confusion before departure regarding what activities the children would actually be permitted to do, and a change to accommodation in Kotor which left us disappointed - both changes from what was agreed at the point of booking. Both issues were largely sorted out before we left for Montenegro but were a bit stressful in the week before the trip.

This was an excellent trip for all involved in Albania. We are a family of 4 with 2 adventurous/energetic girls (10 and 11). We did the Montenegro trip 2 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed both. Ben was great throughout the booking. Our tour leader Aldo was also great and accommodating to our needs/goals. Everyday was an exciting adventure and never a dull moment. We learnt so much on the culture and loved the cuisine. Next stop the Kosovo trip!
