Guided kayaking holiday, (based on min. 2 persons)

Price - from £ 575 per person, including 7 nights accommodation at Villa Miela, welcome dinner and four kayak excursions with lunches.

Our kayaks are Sevylor Colorado inflatable tandems. They can carry more luggage than a rigid kayak, are every bit as robust and easy to paddle and can even be carried in a backpack! All equipment and buoyancy aids included. _______________________________________________________________________________________

Kayak excursion 1:
Fortresses and island prison: A gentle guided paddle from Virpazar's waterlilies to the ruins of Lesendro Fortress and the ancient island prison of Grmožur. A packed lunch is included, but for an extra supplement you could extend the trip to a whole day with lunch and R&R on the private beach at Pješačac.

Grade: easy to moderate - 4-5 hours paddling time.

Kayak excursion 2:
Birding and culture: A circular paddle up reed-lined channels from Virpazar to the bird reserve of Manastirska Tapija, circumnavigating the hills of Vranjina and passing a second great birding spot at the Morača delta before returning to Virpazar. Swimming, drinks pit-stop and packed lunch included.

Grade: moderate to challenging - 5-6 hours paddling time.

Kayak excursion 3:
Island monastaries: A guided circular trip around the lake's unique island monastries and freshwater beaches at Murići, including packed lunches and lots of swimming in the lake's clearest - and quietest - waters. Learn all about the history of the monastaries from the friendly nuns and monks, keep a look out for shoals of tiny, pulsating freshwater jellyfish (non-poisonous!) and enjoy the feeling of having the lake entirely to yourselves.

Grade: easy - 3-4 hours paddling time.

Kayak excursion 4:
Majestic serpentines: An incredible guided paddle from the picturesque village of Karuč to Rijeka Crnojevića via the stunning serpentine channels of Pavlova Strana, one of Montenegro's most famous vistas. Includes packed lunch and transport, with the option of dinner at a local restaurant (you pay them direct).

Grade: moderate to challenging - up to 8 hours paddling time. _______________________________________________________________________________________

Got something even more adventurous in mind?
For a cost per person of € 950 (minimum two persons), for 2012 we are offering a stunning week of wilderness kayaking, where you paddle from one end of this remarkable lake to the other, overnighting or camping in local villages. Trips include a fully qualified instructor, all meals and transfers (Dubrovnik airport excepted) and use of full kayaking equipment. It's an incredible, unique experience that you will never forget!
